World For World Organization, is organizing a
fund raising event called "Olympique Lyonnais for
Charity". Objective of the event is to raise funds
to be destined to the fight against hunger and poverty
in Developing Countries of Africa.
The Third Millennium claims and sanctions the inalienable rights of all
human beings, the ways by which the environment should be protected, the
concept of human and sustainable development, the rules for pacific cohabitation
among people.
All the people of the world have one common challenge: demand from their
own governments the implementation of those plans for action contained
in the Agenda and in the Declaration, that, in the last decade of the XX
century, have delineated a new social and economic model, national and
international where all the people have the same right to peace, food,
health and education. Poverty must be eradicated, natural resources preserved
for future generations, vulnerable groups supported and global wealth redistributed.
Cooperating for peace in the world has become today a moral obligation
for everyone. |
